We have many opportunities to help others, and fourth graders can make a difference.
Throughout the year, our class reaches out to our community and beyond through its efforts of servitude.
Please plan to assist us in any way possible.
__________
September through December: We collect groceries for a children’s home.
October: We collect new socks and gloves for needy families.
January and February: We collect donations for the Cerebral Palsy Center
February through May: We collect toiletry items for disaster relief.
__________
We also look for opportunities to serve others in our school:
We will clean up the playground.
We will clean up after ourselves.
We will use good manners.
We will send cards of greeting, appreciation, sympathy, and congratulations.
__________
We may involve ourselves in other service projects as needed.
